If you’re looking for the perfect SUV to keep your family both safe and entertained, then you need to head to your local Ford dealer. The 2024 Ford Expedition has absolutely everything you need in a fantastic family vehicle.

Plenty of Entertainment for Kids

Need to keep your kids entertained on long trips? No problem. Consider getting the available rearseat entertainment system, which has Alexa and Amazon Fire TV built right in. Your kids can watch over a million TV episodes and movies, and they can save 9 GB of their favorite episodes right there on the screen.

The screens can be used independently or be synced up and used together, and they can also be used to listen to music, play games, and get information. There are two voice remotes included.

Lots of Driver Assistance Technology

There’s so much driver assistance tech packed into the Ford Expedition that you’ll feel incredibly safe. The Ford Co-Pilot360 suite equips the SUV with several driver assistance features such as a blind spot information system, backup assist, intersection assist, and pre-collision assist. On top of that, the vehicle also has hands-free driving technology.

The hands-free driving tech, called Ford BlueCruise, can be used on 97% of the controlled-access highways in both the US and Canada. You need to keep your eyes on the road, but you don’t have to control any component of your vehicle.

Plenty of Space for Cargo

There’s a huge amount of cargo space in the back of the Ford Expedition. You can opt to fill up the regular cargo space, or you can expand the cargo area by folding down the third row or both the second and third rows.

Here’s the space you have to fill:

  • Regular cargo area: 20.9 cubic feet
  • Third row folded flat: 63.6 cubic feet
  • Second and third rows folded flat: 104.6 cubic feet

Enough Muscle for Towing

You can take a boat or camper out on your expeditions if you get a 4×4 Ford Expedition with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package. That’ll enable you to jet out on your adventures with up to 9,200 pounds hitched up to the back of your SUV. Trailer Backup Assist 2.0 helps you stay secure while towing, as it lets you steer your trailer when you’re driving in reverse.

Great for Off-Road Adventures

Plan on driving on the trails? Consider getting the Timberline model, which has Ford Trail Control and Trail 1-Pedal Drive. The latter allows you to easily crawl over difficult terrain at low speeds and stop your car without hitting the brakes. As soon as you lift your foot off the accelerator, your car applies hydraulic brake torque.

We’ve barely scratched the surface of all the incredible features in the Ford Expedition. Visit Bob Maxey Ford in Detroit, MI to take it out for a test drive as soon as you can.
