2021 Ford Edge

The entry-level Edge SE has 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, active grille shutters, and LED daytime running lights. Step up to the SEL for LED fog lights, heated side exterior mirrors, and roof rails, or to the ST-Line for a dark ST grille, 20-inch wheels, and black roof rails. The ST-Line also adds dual exhaust tips and a rear diffuser. The Titanium is next in the lineup with 19-inch wheels and upgraded LED daytime running lights, while the ST has 20-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension.

All Edge models except the ST get power from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 245 horsepower and gets 275 pound-feet of torque. These models also get front-wheel drive and offer all-wheel drive as an option. The ST uses a 2.7-liter V-6 gas engine that makes 335 horsepower, works with a seven-speed automatic transmission, and comes with all-wheel drive.

The four-cylinder engine has plenty of power for driving around town and will accelerate up to 60 mph in about 7.5 seconds. The V-6 under the hood of the ST is significantly faster when accelerating and has the extra power you want for confident passing.

There's room for up to five in the Edge's two rows and a 73.4-cubic-foot storage area behind the front row. It comes with features such as dual-zone automatic climate control and cloth upholstery. You'll get simulated leather upholstery in the SEL and above, which also has power-adjustable front seats and heated front seats. The ST-Line adds red accent stitching in the cabin, and the Titanium upgrades to genuine leather upholstery. Add the Lux Package to the Titanium for ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. Even the entry-level SE trim comes with a 12-inch touch screen, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker stereo. A wireless charging pad is available for the SEL along with a power outlet, or you can get the Titanium where these come standard. The top-level Titanium also has a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system.

Ford's Co-Pilot 360 suite of advanced safety systems come standard with all Edge models. It includes a blind-spot monitor, forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic frontal braking, and automatic high beam headlights. The Co-Pilot Assist+ group comes in the SEL and above with adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist. Choose the Titanium and you'll get all this along with front parking sensors and the option for the Lux Package with a front-facing camera, Co-Pilot Assist+, and an automatic parking system.
