All employees are required to self-screen daily and report any COVID-19 symptoms and suspected or confirmed exposure to COVID-19 to their manager

o   Mask usage

Employees when interacting with customers, whether inside or outside, should have a mask on

All service, parts, and body shop advisors who interact with customers should have a mask on at all times

If employees need to interact with other employees and cannot maintain 6 ft separation, they should have a mask on

o   Customer signage will be posted on entrance doors that advice customers that they are

Required to wear face masks

Not to enter if they are sick or were recently sick

o   Showroom (new and used) are open to customers

Sales people are required to disinfect guest chairs and adjacent desk area before and after each customer visit to their office space

Sales people should not enter the customer's vehicle with them at the time of deliver to demonstrate the vehicle.  Please consider sending customers video instructions on the operation and features of the vehicle including setting up Ford Pass

o   Employee responsibilities

Employees are encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands frequently throughout the day

Disinfectant sprays are located throughout the building and employees are encourage to clean their own offices frequently during the day

Employees are required to notify their manager if safety procedures are not being followed or have suggestions for improvements

Limit the sharing of coworkers' devices, tools or equipment.  When shared use of devices, tools or equipment can't be avoided, disinfectant should be used to clean before sharing occurs

Employees are encouraged to minimize ride sharing.  While in vehicles with others, employees must ensure adequate ventilation and use face mask

o   High customer traffic area should have appropriate floor markings to encourage 6 ft separation

o   Customer vehicles

upon arrival at the dealership and upon returning to the customer, along with vehicle deliveries should have the following high touch areas cleaned with appropriate disinfectant solutions

·        Exterior driver side door handle

·        Steering wheel - including buttons

·        Center console - outside only

·        Gear Selector (Dial/Handle)

·        Radio/HVAC Areas

·        Touchscreen o Start/Stop button

·        Driver door armrest and center console

·        Window/Seat/Mirror controls

·        Rear View Mirror

·        Seatbelt Buckle & Anchor

·        Key fob

o   High touch areas cleaned several times per day

Customer lounge area

·        Every other chair is to be removed to facilitate social distancing of customers

·        Chairs, tables, TV remote, counter top is to be cleaned with disinfectant 3 times during the day by a designated employee

Door Handles

·        Interior doors should be propped open during business hours to eliminate high touch areas from repeated touching

·        Doors that cannot be propped open should be cleaned several times per day by designated employee

Customer accessible bathrooms

·        Counter tops, toilet seats and toilet handles should be cleaned several times per day by designated employee


·        Employee reporting of illness

o   Employees are required to report any of the following to their manager or Mike Maxey and will be required to receive medical clearance from their doctor to return to work

tested positive for or been diagnosed with COVID-19

lives with someone who, in the past 14 days, has been diagnosed or tested positive for COVID-19 or displayed symptoms

has come into direct contact in the past 14 days with someone who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19

in general, if employee does not feel well and may have some common COVID-19 symptoms like

·        Coughing

·        Fever

·        Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing

·        Early symptoms such as chills, body aches, sore throat, headache, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting and runny nose

o   If an employee tests positive for COVID-19 or is suspected of having COVID-19 and was recently at work, the following procedure applies

Employee should immediately notify their manager or Mike Maxey

·        Employee should report who they worked in close proximity to (less than 6 ft) for a prolonged period of time (10 or more minutes)

·        Managers are required to notify fellow employees, customers or vendors that were identified as having close contact

o   Those individuals identified should immediately leave work and seek medical advice before returning to work

o   Manager or Mike Maxey will also notify the appropriate local public health department

·        Employees are not permitted to return to work without doctor's permission and/or are considered recovered

o   Employee has been recovered for at least 72 hours

recover is defined as a) resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and b) improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and at least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.  To the extent practical, employees are required to also obtain a doctor's note clearing them to return to work.

Employee's work area should be immediately closed for the rest of the day to allow for a thorough cleaning before it reopens to other workers
