The 2022 Ford SuperDuty F-250, F-350, and F-450 are each available in six trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited, which makes for 18 configurations total. Features for exterior design vary by model and include options such as tow hooks and tie-down hooks on the XL. With the Lariat, you get automatic high-beam headlamps, PowerScope trailer tow mirrors, and halogen fog lamps. On the Limited, you'll find LED lighting, power deployable running boards, and a moonroof for the Crew Cab.
Engine (Power)
There are three engines available to power the 2022 Ford SuperDuty lineup. These include the 6.2-liter SOHC flex-fuel two-valve V-8 engine, which comes standard for the F-250 and the F-350. There's an available 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo diesel with a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system that delivers up to 1,050 pound-feet of torque and 475 horsepower. Lastly, there's a 7.3-liter OHV PFI gas-powered V-8 that is designed for heavy hauling. It features 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. All SuperDuty models come with a standard TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission to improve performance and deliver a smoother ride.
Performance
The 2022 Ford SuperDuty trucks offer stronger performance than ever before. Each comes with selectable drive modes that include Eco, Normal, Tow-Haul, Slippery, Deep Sand/Snow, and available Rock Crawl mode for optimized performance. An available integrated electric winch offers 12,000 pounds of power. With the F-450, you can get an available GCWR of 43,500 pounds. With the Tremor Off-Road package, you add an off-road-tuned suspension setup and 35-inch maximum-traction tires.
Interior
Inside the Ford SuperDuty series, you'll find the comfort you want for those long trips, advanced technology and connectivity features, and various convenience features to help make your life easier. With the XLT, you get standard features such as FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hot spot, a SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch center stack radio, and cloth seating. The Platinum offers dual-zone automatic electronic temperature control, power-adjustable pedals, a wireless charger, unique leather seating with heated and ventilated front seats, and a built-in navigation system.
