2022 Ford Bronco
Everyone was excited to see the Ford Bronco return for the 2021 model year after being gone for 25 years, and the 2022 model proves that it just keeps getting better. You can enjoy an impressive all-terrain capability with pleasant on-road comfort and steering for the best of both worlds. Check out the reasons drivers everywhere love the 2022 Ford Bronco.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Ford Bronco in seven trims: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and First Edition. It's also available as a two-door or a four-door model with various appearance packages that include features ranging from off-road hardware and accessories along with roof and wheel options. On the Base, you get 16-inch steel wheels, tow hooks, and LED headlights. The Big Bend adds a different grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, and LED fog lights. The Black Diamond has heavy-duty front and rear bumpers, a black grille, rock rails, skid plates, and 17-inch steel wheels with all-terrain tires.
Upgrading to the Outer Banks gets you fender flares, body-color door handles, and 18-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires. You get upgraded LED headlights on the Badlands, and the Wildtrak adds special graphics to your Bronco. The First Edition has a heavy-duty bumper with a brush guard as well as a unique hood and body-side graphics.
Engine (Power)
The 2022 Ford Bronco comes with two engine options, depending on the trim level you pick. A 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine can be paired with a seven-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission. You can expect to get 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 that garners 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Either engine lets you tackle the trail with ease.
Performance
Ford knows how important performance-enhancing features are, especially when it comes to off-roading. The 2022 Ford Bronco has hill start assist and hill descent control to let you conquer any incline. The Black Diamond adds a seven-mode terrain management system designed to take you off the beaten path. The Badlands has a front stabilizer bar disconnect and a unique suspension system. If you add the Sasquatch package, you get a lifted suspension and shorter final drive ratio with electronically locking front and rear axles to improve off-road performance.
Interior
When you enter the 2022 Ford Bronco, you'll notice the attention to detail in the interior design. The Base offers a six-speaker stereo system and an 8-inch touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Big Bend adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob as well as interior grab handles. On the Black Diamond, you get rubber flooring and vinyl upholstery for easy clean-up after your adventures. The Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrack all feature keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, ambient interior lighting, and heated front seats. Upgrading to the First Edition adds power-adjustable front seats, leather and vinyl upholstery, and a 12-inch touch screen.
